Jewellery

The wearing of jewellery in school is not permitted. This is particularly important from the safety point of view with regard to bracelets, rings and earrings. A watch may be worn. Pupils are not allowed to wear any piercings of any kind, this includes clear / translucent pieces of jewellery.

Mobile Phones

• Mobile phones are not allowed to be seen or used in school they must be turned off and in students bag, this also applies in revision classes, sports fixtures, school trips etc

• Students are not permitted to wear ‘smart watches’ which can be connected to the internet to receive messages and calls.

Care of Property and Valuables

Large amounts of money and valuables should be handed in to the school office at the beginning of each day and collected before pupils leave school. Each item of uniform and kit should be marked with the owner’s name for easy return in case of loss.

Equipment

All pupils are expected to bring the following items to every lesson:

• x2 black pens
• Red pen
• Ruler
• Rubber
• X2 pencils
• A whiteboard pen 

In addition, students are also expected to have maths equipment which includes: 

• Protractor
• Compass
• Scientific calculator

Pupils are also expected to bring a suitable bag to carry their equipment & books along with their Chromebook.
